After joining GoECart, you will leverage your previous product marketing skills to advance our market position in our specific target markets. As our hands-on marketing lead, your first mission will be to align yourself with our product and gain in-depth knowledge on our value proposition vs. our competitors. Your knowledge of internet economy, marketing and analytical tools will allow you to identify, attract, and solicit small to medium sized businesses to our superior product. By knowing our product and the products of our competitors, you will be able generate a large volume of qualified prospects that our Sales team can follow up on and close.

Primary Role:
GoECart is looking for an experienced and dynamic but
hands-on marketing guru to lead our Online Marketing initiatives. Product Marketing / Search Engine Marketing Agency experience is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategize, implement and execute the marketing plans for various online marketing programs (not limited to SEO, SEM, Display Advertising, Social Media, Email Marketing, Webinars, Trade Shows) which will include merchant engagements and interactions.
- Lead and motivate internal (employees) and external (outsourced / freelance) project teams to achieve their given objectives and goals, while managing them every step of the way.
- Ready, willing and able to take ownership of projects and be accountable to the ultimate success of each project / campaign.
- Evaluate effectiveness of all online marketing programs, draw conclusions and develop recommendations based on results in a timely basis.
- Manage all project budgets and remain accountable to them.
- Work closely with the sales team to align marketing and sales objectives and strategies. Provide tools (collateral, events, branding) necessary for business development to communicate effectively with prospects and existing clients.
- Forge and nurture strategic industry partnerships and alliances (e.g. PayPal, Endicia etc.) working closely with the CEO / Business Development team.
- Work with the management team to provide routine and ad-hoc reports, insights and suggestions about organizational strategies based on personal experience, industry best practices, and creative thinking.
- Research and write sell sheets, case studies, web content, and brochures in a short time frame based on markets/industries, technology literature, competitive information, and other resources.
- Hire and train staff as necessary.
Qualifications
Prior Experience
- 5+ years work experience in internet environment with a minimum of 4 years SEO/SEM responsibilities.
- Experience in managing significant budgets on top tier search engines (Google Adwords, MSN adCenter, Yahoo/Bing)
- Experience with PPC Bid Optimization and Web Analytics tools like Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends, etc.
Knowledge
- Is a strong strategist/tactician. Has current knowledge of latest industry trends with major search engines, social media and advertising outlets.
- Highly knowledgeable about natural/organic search engine optimization tactics and how web metrics are tracked (http headers, redirect, tracking pixels, etc.)
- Quantitative skills including the ability to monitor budgets understand return on investment and select relative data for analyzing future action.
- Web Analytics and Reporting skills to create meaningful reports, metrics and dashboards using tools like Google Analytics.
