We are GoECart, an entrepreneurial, market-leading, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), e-commerce company. GoECart’s online store solution is an award-winning, feature-rich e-commerce application that enables hundreds of customers to sell their goods and services on the Internet. Put simply, we help our customers to make money!
 
We are currently increasing our sales capacity to rapidly gain market share, and we are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to help us do just that.
 
At GoECart, your focus will be on new sales—nurturing the numerous leads that come in from the web, by telephone, and at our numerous tradeshow appearances—and converting them into paying customers. You will qualify prospects to ensure that they are in our target market segments, educate customers about how they can use GoECart to sell their products and services online, sell our standard packages, work on custom solutions and proposals, and, of course, close sales!

Reports To: Director of Inside Sales

Based At: Bridgeport, Connecticut Office

Primary Role:
Making outbound telephone calls, e-mails and web presentations, in order to nurture and close sales leads, and in the process, meet or exceed sales quotas

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and track a high volume of telephone and e-mail prospects
  • Nurture prospects from interest to close as quickly as possible
    • Educate customers about the GoECart product and services
    • Qualify prospects
  • Achieve sales quotas
  • Follow sales process and update customer relationship management (CRM) system to track sales progress
  • Keep current on products and services offered and industry trends
  • Work well with others in company
  • Provide pipeline and forecasting information to management
Qualifications

Prior Experience
  • Three-plus years experience selling software as a service (SaaS) solutions or software over the telephone
  • Consistently met or exceeded sales quotas
  • Worked in a start-up environment
  • Prior CRM systems experience
Skills
  • Knows how to sell software over the telephone
  • Ability to connect with prospects
  • Excellent closer
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Excellent telephone and e-mail skills
  • Technology and Internet savvy
  • Ability to learn software quickly
  • Highly organized, self-directed business style, with strong ability to prioritize

Education
