Software Sales Associate
Opening at Bridgeport, Connecticut headquarters
MachroTech is a leading software products and services company. After successfully exceeding 2006 goals, MachroTech is looking to aggressive market its award-winning hosted On-Demand eCommerce Solution - GoECart. MachroTech has been profitable and growing consistently year after year since it’s inception in late 1999. It currently has offices in Bridgeport, CT USA and Pune, India.
Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting and managing sales activities based in North America. Duties must be executed to maximize market share, numbers of customers, sales, and profits in US and Canadian markets and other critical performance measures.
Position Type: Full Time and Part Time Available
Location: Bridgeport, CT
Primary Focus:
- Use effective selling systems and techniques to identify targeted prospects, qualify, present, negotiate, close and follow-up sales activities; manage installations and relationships among customers and business associations.
- Follow up on leads and conduct online product demos with potential customers.
- Prepare convincing client proposals identifying our competitive advantages.
- Co-ordinate with the marketing team to assist with sales and marketing alignment. Provide feedback to marketing team to help optimize promotion campaigns or launch new ones.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in B.S. /B.A. / MBA (Marketing, MIS, Business Admin.) preferred.
- Understands the concepts of “eCommerce” and web based applications. Ability to quickly learn and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of new software products, and subsequently be able to tailor solutions for clients, as the product expert.
- Persuasive, appropriately aggressive, intuitive, and diplomatically professional
- Strong prospecting, closing and account management skills, needed to grow the number of clients.
- Accepts responsibility and demonstrates excellent follow-through
- Excels at establishing and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
Required Education: Enrolled in B.S. /B.A. / MBA (Marketing, MIS, Business Admin.)
Base Pay: Competitive; based on skill set and experience
