This section deals with all the features related
to Shipping and Payments for the products listed
on your e-store. The entire shipping and payment
system can be customized according to your specific
requirements, enabling you to add all the desired
features to the shopping cart on your e-store. The
sub-links under this section are:
Ship
Methods & Rates
The Shipping Methods & Rates
section helps you decide upon the settings related
to the shipping addresses for orders. The Allow
Different Shipping Address option allows the
customer to specify a shipping address different
from the billing address. The Allow Foreign
Shipping Address option allows customers to
specify international shipping addresses as well
as local ones.
The "Per Order Handling
fee" is the charge the store owner can impose
for handling each order. This is be defined as
a flat amount for each order or as a percentage
of the total order amount.
- Domestic Order Handling Fee: This handling
fee will be charged to orders that are ordered
from the local country of the store.
- International Order Handling Fee: This handling
fee will be charged to orders that are ordered
from a country other than the local country
of the store.
GoECart also provides options for the type of shipping
you want to make available on the store. The two
main types of shipping are:

Custom
Shipping
Custom shipping gives you the option to add your
own shipping option under which you can edit the
following features of your shipping facility:
- Shipping Type – Describes the type of the
Shipping Option made available.
- Visible – Will allow displaying the shipping
method in the client panel.
- By Price – This is to set the Shipping
Method. If “By Price” is checked, the Shipping
Method is set based on the Product Rates. If
“By Price” is unchecked then the Shipping options
is set based on the Weight of the Products.
- Edit Weights – Will allow you to define the
Weight limits for the product and the cost associated
with that Weight limit.
- Edit Prices - Will allow you to define the
Price limits for the product and the cost associated
with that Price Limit.
- Notes – A Comment can be added through this
option describing the Shipping Method.

The Move option is used
to define the order in which the Shipping options
are to be displayed in the check out process.
The user can move a shipping types before or after
the others using this option.

Real-Time
Shipping
Real-Time shipping includes the entire range of
standard shipping methods unlike Custom Shipping.
This option will follow the standard shipping
rules with respect to weights, time taken to ship,
etc. implemented by the mail Carriers supported
by the store such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, and
Canada Post.

Tax Rates
Under this section the taxes can be customized
as per store policies or set to reflect the tax
rates recommended by the US State Governments.

Custom
Tax Manager
Under this section you can levy any Additional
taxes and Shipping taxes as per the store policies.
The following information needs to be entered
in this section:
- State– This is the field where the
state names are added.
- Tax – This field specifies the tax
details in percentage terms
- Shipping Tax – The Shipping Tax in
percentage terms is specified here
- Update – After making any changes,
the site administrator can click on this link
to update the changes in the database
- Delete – By clicking this link the
site owner can delete the corresponding state
tax details
New state tax details can be added from the “Add
New Custom Tax” section.

Online
Pay Methods
This section provides the site owner with the
option to decide upon an Online Payment Gateway
for their store, such as Authorize.net or PayPal.
Under this section there are options to edit the
Merchant ID, Payment Type, Surcharge, Sort Order,
Description and Order Conformation Message. On
the right side of each pay method, you will see
one of two links – Edit or Enable.
Clicking on the “Edit” link takes
the user to a new popup window where they can
edit relevant details such as Merchant ID, Surcharge,
Description or Order Confirmation Message.
Clicking on the “Enable” link requests confirmation
from the administrator to disable the currently
enabled pay option. On confirmation, the currently
enabled option shall be disabled and the option
for which the Enable link is clicked will be selected
as the Online Pay Method.

Custom
Pay Methods
This feature allows you to make available different
payment options like Credit Card Payment or Cash
on Delivery, etc and also allows you to decide
upon the information you need to collect with
regards to the Payment option selected by the
customer. The various fields that you have to
decide upon are as follows
- Payment Type – This type of Payment
option you want to provide on the e-store. For
e.g. Cash on delivery, Credit Card payment,
etc
- Surcharge – This is the surcharge that
you can levy on the type of payment the customer
chooses in accordance with your company policies.
- Description – This field allows you
to describe or put up a message in respect to
the Payment Option.
- Order Confirmation Message – This will
allow you to put upon your own order Confirmation
Message on the e- store.
- Input Name – Under this you need to
put up the fields for which you need to collect
information from the customer. This information
can be in regards to the Name, Address, Credit
Card Number, Credit Card Type, etc.
- Length – It allows you to decide upon
the maximum length for the “Input name” field.
- Sort Order – This allows to display
the Input Names on the client side in a particular
sequence as set in the “Edit Custom Pay Method”
- Type – It allows you to decide upon
the variable for the content on the “Input Name”
field. It can be text, card number, card type,
validity date for the credit card, etc.
- Required – Checking this box will make
it mandatory for the customer to put up that
information.
Move option shall be used to decide upon
the order in which you want the Payment options
to be seen on the e-store.
