Under this section you can find all the different Editors concerning the content present on the online store which are listed below:
Logo and Custom Header Editor
This helps you customize your display settings with regard to Logos
and Ads. The available options are:
Ad Editor – Allows you to put up ads on the e-store.
More than one ad can also be displayed, with the help of the "Add
New Ad" section. If three Ads are added, the first will display
on the left side, the second on the middle and the third on the right.
The same editor is used for the display of the ad logos as well.
- Top Page Editor – This feature allows you to add or edit a message
at the Top of the page. There is also the facility to put in a default
message.

The Display Option in the "Top of Page Editor"
is used to set the Client Side Logo and Customer Header option
- Set Display option to “Default” if you want to display only Ads
in the Client Logo Section
- Set Display option to “Custom” if you want to display only the “Top
of the Page Editor” Texts in the Client Logo Section. In this case
Ads will not be displayed in the Client Section
- Set Display option to “Use Both Default and Custom”, if you want
to display Ads and the “Top of the Page Editor” texts in the Client
Logo section

Home Page Editor
The Home Page Editor enables you to alter the Messages on the Homepage.
It also gives you the option of uploading the images or text files on
the Homepage. You can enter multiple Messages and sort them for sequential
display on the client side.
You can add a new message by clicking on “Content Manager” -> “Homepage
Editor”.

After you add contents, you will need to click on the
“Update” button for saving the details. You can also delete messages
by clicking on the “Delete” link.

Company Info & Copyright
The Company Info Editor enables you to change the text message containing
your Company Info on the site. The Copyright Editor enables you to formulate
the copyright statement to be announced on your site

Content Manager Section Editor
The Content Manager Section Editor enables you to display your Contact Information
on the site. The administrator can create dynamic forms using this editor.
The html can be written in such a way that text boxes will be used to
capture the details with a submit button to submit the form. The Form
tags in the rich text editor have to be replaced as follows: the “<
form” tag has to be replaced with “@@form” and the “< /form>” has to
be replaced with “##form##. The Form tags have to be entered in HTML
mode.
Note: If you want some
custom messages to be displayed after the Form is submitted, then a
Custom Page with the Page Title “Confirmation Message” has to be created
through the Custom Pages editor. If there are no custom pages with that
title, the system will redirect the user to the home page after the
form is submitted.

Socket Manager
The Socket manager provides you with the capability to design the home
page's right panel and the center portion of the client side of your
e-store. There are two options used to define the contents of the client
side. A preview of the home page can be viewed by clicking on the Preview
Home Page link. The two options for setting up the client side contents
are:
Right Panel
The contents of this socket area will be displayed on the right-hand
side of the GoECart client panel site. You have the option of editing
the contents of this page

The individual contents of the socket area can also
be edited. Images can be added, and the font style and colors can also
be modified in this area.

Center Panel
The contents that are managed in the central Panel socket area will
be displayed in the center of the Home Page in the client panel. The
user can modify the contents and their visibility and sort order in
this area. Once the “Update visibility and Sort Order” button is clicked
the sockets are rebuilt and the changes reflected in the client panel

Link Editor
The Link Editor allows you to add Links to the Left Panel of the Client
Pages. It facilitates the addition of Links by specifying the Link Name,
URL, Link Group, Visibility and Popup Conditions. Custom Pages from
the Content Manager – Custom Pages Editor
will also get listed in the List details when the “Display Under Links
Groups” list box is selected while creating the Custom Pages. The custom
pages will be highlighted in Gray and they can be edited only with the
help of the ‘Edit Page’

- Check the “Visible” checkbox if you want to
display the links in the Client panel
- Select the “Link Group” to display the link
under the specific link group
- Check the “Popup” checkbox if you want to
display the links content in a Popup window
- “Test Link” allow you to test or preview the
link in the Client Panel
- The “Move” option is used for defining the
Sort Order of the links in the Client panel.
For example, consider two Links “A” and “B”.
If you want to display “B” link before “A”,
update “Move” with the following: Move “A” “After”
“B”. This will set the Link “B” to be displayed
before the Link “A”
Link Group Editor

The Link Group editor is used to add new link groups. These link groups are used to present the links and the custom pages as a group in the storefront. The administrator can add as many link groups as required and associate the related links and custom pages with these link groups. So when the storefront is viewed, the link group name will be displayed as the heading and the links and custom pages associated will be displayed under this link group name.

separate headings as shown above
- The links and the custom pages under the specific
link group will be displayed below the link
group names
This way the Link group shall be used for presenting
the custom pages and the links in the storefront.

Custom Pages Editor
The Custom Pages Editor allows you to create your own custom pages that will maintain a consistent look and feel with the rest of your storefront. This is accomplished by placing your custom html in the center area of the standard storefront system.

- Select the link group name from the “Display
Under Links Group” list box, which displays
the custom page under the selected link group
in the client section left navigation bar. When
the “Display Under Links Group” list box is
selected, the Custom Page will get listed in
the Content Manager –
Link Editor. Here you can set the visibility
of the Custom Page by checking the “Visible”
checkbox, and you can check the “Popup” checkbox
if you want the Custom Page Contents to get
displayed in the Popup window
- The Keywords text box is used to enter the
Keywords. This page will be displayed in the
storefront if customers use the same keywords
while searching the items in the storefront.
Multiple Keywords are added by separating the
words using commas
- The Links Group status will display the Group
Name when the “Display Under Links Group” list
box is selected for the Custom Pages. This page
will get listed in the Link Editor
- The Links Menu Status will be displayed as
“” when the “Display Under Links Group” list
box value is not selected for the Custom Pages
- The “Members only” check box is used to display
the selected custom page only for the logged
in members. If the checkbox is checked, the
logged in members can only see the contents
of the selected page, when displayed in the
storefront

Meta Tags Editor
The Meta Tags Editor allows you to add Meta tags dynamically to the
system. When you submit your site to the search engines, the Mata tags
will be used by the search engines to identify your site and based on
the keywords, they will list your site under the appropriate categories.
The meta tags for the Home Page, Home > Support > GoECart Online Help > Content Manager Section page and the Company Info
page can be defined in this section.
